Tennis

Members enjoy our four clay and eight asphaltic PlexiPave® courts.  Four of the PlexiPave® courts are lighted for twilight and late-evening use. 

Four courts are covered for winter play, giving Des Moines Golf and Country Club the only private country club year round tennis experience in the city.

The beautiful Tennis Pavilion and Gazebo are staffed by our Director of Tennis and a staff of professionals to help you with your gear or your game.

There’s plenty of open court time plus scheduled time periods for play by men, women and juniors.

The extensive program includes year round clinics for all age groups and all levels of ability, more than 20 scheduled Club tournaments plus interclub matches, celebrity events, and there is an awards program that encourages participation and achievement by our younger players.
