Des Moines Golf and Country Club prides itself on truly being a family country club.  It is also one of the outstanding country clubs in the Midwest. 

GOLF - The cornerstones of the Club are the only two Pete Dye designed championship golf courses in Iowa.  A strong junior golf program is complimented by active programs for ladies and seniors at all levels.  Instruction begins at age 5 and is available for all ages beyond that.  Members have access to the largest practice facility in central Iowa including a bentgrass short game practice area.  

...But we’re not just golf! WE'RE SWIMMING - Members enjoy our Olympic size swimming pool from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  Swim lessons and access to our competitive swim team are the basis for many Social memberships.  We are the only country club that offers diving instruction and one of the only to offer synchronized swimming. For those too young to swim, our large wading pool, adjacent to the playground and splash ground offers a fun selection of interactive water features.     

WE'RE TENNIS - Twelve tennis courts - 4 clay and 8 Plexipave® give members a choice of playing surfaces.  Four of the Plexipave® courts are domed for winter play, allowing Des Moines Golf to offer the only private club, indoor tennis experience in the area.

WE'RE DINING - The Clubhouse is home of the finest dining in Des Moines.  Casual a la carte dining is offered in the Iowa Grille.  A varied menu guarantees members will find something to suit their dining mood.  Prime aged beef, fresh fish and table-side presentations are offered in the formal Candlelight Dining Room.  Our award winning wine list is available in both rooms.

Spend time away every year? No worry, there is no food or beverage minimum spending requirement at the Club.

WE'RE EVENTS - Food service is available for groups of 3 to 350 in our banquet space.  Accessible to members and their guests on a first come first serve basis, events are booked through our Director of Events.  All day meetings, bridal showers, bar mitzvah’s and weddings; we do it all.

WE'RE FAMILY - Our annual calendar of events includes our Father-Daughter Dance, Family Bingo and Kids Cooking Classes to name just a few. 

Des Moines Golf and Country Club has a tremendous amount to offer.  While the true family centric club in the Des Moines area it is also an integral part of the Greater Des Moines Community at large.
